NFL Films interviews Dolphin's Quarterback Chad Pennington at Woodbridge Ranches

DAVIE, FL---Builder/developer
SH Communities, recipient of more than 200 design and planning awards over the years, recently had the honor of hosting Miami Dolphin quarterback Chad Pennington for an interview with NFL Films in one of its Woodbridge Ranches’ model homes in Davie.

Woodbridge Ranches, located just minutes from the Dolphin’s training facility at nearby Nova Southeast University in Davie, provided the ideal venue for NFL Films’ sit-down interview with the Dolphin’s signal caller who threw for 3,653 yards and 19 touchdowns in his inaugural season with Miami last year.

“NFL Films was looking for an upscale residence where NFL Films’ Steve Sabol could conduct an at-home-style, sit-down interview with Chad. We had just what they were looking for and were more than happy to oblige,” said Nanette Plescia, corporate vice president of sales and operations for SH Communities.

Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based NFL Films, a $50 million family business embedded within a multi-billion-dollar operation and winner of 91 Emmy Awards since its formation in 1965, had a crew of 10 on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The hour-long interview with Sabol took place in SH Communities’ Gulfstream model, one of 19 upscale plans at Woodbridge Ranches, a community of luxury estate homes priced from $699, 900 to over $1 million just west of Fort Lauderdale.  The community is one of seven currently being developed throughout Florida by Miami-based SH Communities.

Pennington, the former first-round pick of the New York Jets and winner of the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award in 2006 after returning from a second shoulder surgery, is
entering his 10th NFL season and second with the Dolphins.  He has thrown for 17,391 yards and 101 touchdowns in his NFL career.

Woodbridge Ranches has been a popular spot for film and television exposure.  Because of its upscale appeal, the community has been featured in several episodes of the Telemundo soap opera “Pecados Ajenos” as well as in several television commercials, according to Plescia.
